Two Injured in McLaren Crash and Fire

A devastating car crash occurred in Heyhouses Lane, St Annes, Lancashire, in the early hours of Saturday morning, leaving two men with serious injuries following a McLaren car colliding with a lamppost and subsequently a house. The incident occurred at approximately 2:35 am, with the car and house catching fire, prompting an immediate response from firefighters who were able to extinguish the flames.

The two men inside the car suffered a number of serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. One of the men is currently in a critical but stable condition, while the other is in a serious but stable condition. Miraculously, no one in the house was injured in the incident.

Sergeant Tom Malley, from Lancashire Constabulary’s roads policing unit, expressed his concern for the well-being of the two men and their loved ones, stating, “As a result of this collision two men are in hospital with serious injuries and my thoughts are with their loved ones at this time.” Malley also emphasized the importance of establishing the full circumstances of the incident, urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.

The investigation is ongoing, and any witnesses or individuals with relevant footage are encouraged to contact the police as soon as possible.
