Ronny Mauricio might not play for the Mets until September

Ronny Mauricio got hurt while playing baseball in the Dominican Winter League. It was on December 10. He was trying to steal second base.

The Mets were thinking about letting Mauricio try out for the third base position during spring training. But now, because he’s hurt, they might need to find someone else to play there. They might pick someone from another team, like Gio Urshela or Justin Turner.
