Taraji P. Henson is shining at the 2024 SAG Awards! The “Empire” star, now 53, dazzled in a black strapless Giambattista Valli Couture gown with a daring sweetheart neckline and a dramatic train.
Her stunning Bulgari Serpenti necklace and Betsey Johnson heels completed her look. Sharing her outfit on Instagram, she captioned it “Black Girl Magic.”
Henson, nominated with her “The Color Purple” co-stars for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture, wore her hair in a stylish flipped-out bob, parted to the side.
This appearance continued her style streak from promoting “The Color Purple,” which has made her a standout throughout the award season.
In January, at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, she wore a sleek strapless white gown with a thigh-high slit and dramatic train, accessorized with lab-grown Pandora diamonds.
She also stunned at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala in a bright green dress with a plunging neckline, paired with gold-embossed Malone Souliers mules.
Henson’s fashion journey for “The Color Purple” began at its premiere in December, where she wore a striking black-and-white Vlora Mustafa gown with a sheer corset and satin train, accessorized with glittery snake-inspired jewels and a bold geometric eye look.
