TXT’s Yeonjun has made a significant contribution to the Hallym Burn Foundation, donating 50 million won ($36,340.64 USD) to support firefighters. The donation, announced on May 2, will aid in covering medical and nursing expenses, as well as funding the ‘Firefighter Trauma 119 Program.’
The ‘Firefighter Trauma 119 Program’ was developed last year by the Hallym Burn Foundation in collaboration with psychiatry professor Lee Byung Chul. This initiative focuses on treating firefighters who face work-related stress and trauma. The program aims to provide comprehensive mental health recovery support, including projects tailored to assist with medical and nursing costs.
Yeonjun’s generous donation underscores his commitment to supporting those who risk their lives for public safety. The funds will ensure that firefighters receive the necessary medical care and mental health support to recover from the physical and psychological impacts of their demanding job.
