An Indian man was arrested in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, for sexually assaulting people at a public water park. The incident occurred on July 7, 2024, when the 25-year-old man, originally from India but residing in Halifax, was reported for groping individuals at the park. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) responded to the scene around 2 pm following reports of sexual interference and assault.
The RCMP’s investigation revealed that the man had been walking around the water park and groping people. Testimonies from at least twelve victims were collected, including some under the age of 16. These testimonies played a crucial role in the police’s understanding of the extent of the assaults.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police located the suspect, who was still at the water park. He was arrested without any resistance. Following his arrest, the man was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court on October 24, 2024.
