ATTRAKT Pursues Legal Action Against Former FIFTY FIFTY Members and Co-defendants Over Contract Termination.

On December 19 KST, ATTRAKT announced legal action against three former FIFTY FIFTY members—Saena, Sio, and Aran—along with those involved in the unjust termination of their exclusive contracts. The lawsuit targets The Givers, Ahn Seong Il, Baek Jin Sil, and the parents of the three members for their participation in the contract violations.

ATTRAKT stated, “We have filed a civil lawsuit seeking compensation for damages and penalties against the former members of FIFTY FIFTY for their breach of exclusive contracts. Additionally, we are pursuing damages against those involved in their joint illegal acts.”

ATTRAKT files a lawsuit against former FIFTY FIFTY members and their associates for unfair contract termination.

The damages and penalties calculated by ATTRAKT amount to tens of billions of won. Given the potential for further expansion of damages during litigation, the lawsuit includes explicit partial claims at the complaint submission stage.

Attorney Park Jae Hyun of Lee & Ko, representing ATTRAKT, remarked, “We will diligently pursue this lawsuit, viewing it as an important opportunity to establish fair trade practices in the entertainment industry beyond merely recovering damages.”

This case underscores the ongoing challenges and legal complexities in the entertainment industry regarding contract enforcement and termination.
