Cillian is a theatre lord with an outrageous net worth. In 1996, he made his professional debut in the 1996 play “Disco Pigs” and has been in the limelight since then.

Cillian Murphy’s Biography
The Irish film star was born on May 25, 1976, in Douglas County, Cork, back in Ireland. His father, Cork, worked for the Irish Department of Education alongside his mother, who worked as a French Teacher in Ballintemple, both raising him at that time.
Then little Murphy took an interest in writing songs and playing musical instruments at ten while attending the Catholic Secondary School Presentation Brother’s College. He did excellently well but got into trouble a few times.
During his stay at CSSPBC, he had his first experience of performing in a play. Then his English Teacher (William Wall), a novelist, inspired him to take up acting as a career. He started as a musician, playing the guitar and singing with his brother.
The two brothers started the band, ‘The Sons of Mr. Greengenes,’ as the Beatles and Frank Zappa influenced them. After they had started the band, they began; a five-album record deal was offered to them with the famous Acid Jazz Records, which they turned down.
Murphy ventured to law at University College Cork in 1996 but sadly failed in his first year because he preferred playing with his band instead of studying. He even performed in two plays at UCC.

Cillian’s Career
Cillian’s Career started as a rock musician, then acting came into the picture. In September 1996, he passed an audition at the Corcadorca Theatre Company and his debut performance in the professional play “Disco Pigs” much later in the same year.

His famous turned play ‘Disco Pigs’ ended up all over Canada, Australia, and Europe for two years, whereas it was supposed to run for just two weeks.
After this happened, Murphy ditched the university and forged his band ahead. He got a talent agent, although he intended to play music.
In the late 1990s and early 2000, he starred in many Irish and British films and stage productions. He then relocated to Dublin for a while and settled in London in late 2001.
Source of Income
Acting in several debut plays brought the milk to Cillian’s pockets. He is best known for his role as Thomas Shelby in the popular BBC and the popular Netflix series “Peaky Blinders.”
Critics seemed to get a part of him for his performance in the popular series, which earned accolades for proper dialogue, character arrangements, and visual styling.
He also collaborated with Christopher Nolan, a director, and appeared in three of Noah’s films, like ‘ Dunkirk,’ ‘Inception,’ and ‘28 Days Later.’
He has received many awards for his stage work, including ‘Best Actor’ for his performance in The 2002 Irish Times ‘The Pillowman.’
