One of Netflix’s famous shows Atypical is set to return for its fourth installment. The coming of age show which features a teenage kid on the autistic spectrum focuses on the challenges and also encountering the perils of being an adolescent kid going through puberty. The show revolves around Sam and his slightly dysfunctional family, who are always there to support him and give him encouragement when he needs it. The show created by Robia Rashid, first premiered Netlfix in 2017, and has now currently three seasons and running strong.
The show first received some backlash for the representation of ASD characters and inaccuracies in the first season, but the makers rectified it by including more actors and writers with autism to join the cast and crew in season 2. The third season had an overwhelming response from the critics and gathered appreciation from viewers all over.

It might also focus on Casey’s and Izzie’s relationship as college comes to play between them, it will be interesting to see how Izzie reacts to the situation and changes. Will Izzie have Casey’s back or will the distance play a role in the trust they have with each other? We can only know with time as there isn’t much time left before the new season begins.
