Pokemon GO: Go Beyond Set to Release on November 30 – All Details
The new update, which will bring a new Seasons feature and add new Pokemon from the Kalos region, is all set to be released at the end of this month. Avid players of the once world-famous game, which got everybody on their feet and ready to go out, are stoked about this as Niantic announced some pretty cool perks to the game.
The Trainers who have reached level 40 will be allowed to go up to level 50; they will be the first players who can do this in the history of the game. The developer Niantic has also made several changes, which makes leveling up for the players easier by making adjustments to how XP is earned in the game. This comes as a sigh-of-relief for people who are first time playing this game, or discontinued because it was too hard or needed a lot of effort.
In their blog post, Niantic announced that Pokemon Go would get a new Go Beyond update on November 30, and its adjustments to the leveling up mechanism, giving the users more ways to earn XP than the usual. In a statement, Niantic said that “You will earn more XP from catching Pokemon, evolving Pokemon, hatching eggs and registering new Pokedex entries, and more. In some cases, XP earned will be as much as double what it was before, so it will be easier than ever for Trainers to catch up to their higher-level friends.”
Users will also have to face challenges in each level after 40, and Niantic has detailed on them. Tests include testing your catching skills, testing your evolution knowledge, and so many more explorations awaiting you.
In addition to the updates to the XP and trainer leveling, there are also updates in encountering and catching Pokemon, Adventure Sync, Buddy Adventure, Field Research, Gifts, and more. Information about these changes is said to go live during the week of November 30, 2020.
Trainers who will reach level 40 before December 31, 2020, will earn the title of Legacy 40 Trainer and some exclusive rewards like Timed Research that rewards an exclusive Gyarados Hat avatar item, and a special Legacy 40 medal.
To help the trainers reach level 40 faster, the game has also introduced a double Catch XP bonus, which will be live from Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Users should try powering up their Pokemon to see the update.
Ahead of the event, Niantic is currently holding a 12 Days of Friendship event, which began on November 18. Throughout the event, your friendship level with another player will increase much more quickly than normal when you open gifts, trade Pokemon, or battle together in Raids and Gyms.
The game Pokemon Go was a great hit when it was released; it has now come with its first update since the game was released in the year 2016 by the developers Niantic. It officially first launched in Australia, New Zealand, and the US and was then released worldwide due to high demand.
