On the morning of June 28 KST, the cast of tvN’s ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ season 2 attended a press conference for the show’s premiere. This season, the crew, including Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Sik, and new intern Go Min Si, will be opening a Korean restaurant in Iceland, featuring some of Lee Seo Jin’s favourite dishes.
Go Min Si replaces BTS’s V, who served as the intern in season 1 but is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service. Na Young Suk PD explained the selection of Go Min Si: “We wanted a young, rising star, so we did extensive research.
Go Min Si, a talented actress, has a background of working various jobs before her acting career. Her experience and quick promotions as a wedding planner showed she could adapt and contribute effectively.”
Na PD also highlighted the differences between the two interns. “In season one, V portrayed a young person just starting in the workforce, showcasing his fun character, wit, and the challenges he faced. In contrast, Go Min Si represents a young professional with experience and skills, striving for recognition and results. Their roles are distinct, and I hope viewers will appreciate these natural differences.”
‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ premieres on June 28 at 8:40 PM KST on tvN, and will also be available for global streaming on Prime Video.
