NewJeans Shines Bright at 2023 Asia Artist Awards

On December 14, 2023, the Philippine Arena hosted the grand spectacle of the 8th Asia Artist Awards (AAA), a prestigious event likened to Asia’s Oscars and Grammys. Organized by STAR NEWS, TONZ ENTERTAINMENT, and PULP Live World, the evening celebrated Asian artistry across various fields, from music to film.

The event was graced by stellar hosts including IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, Kang Daniel, and ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin, alongside electrifying performances and appearances by a diverse lineup of artists. NewJeans stole the spotlight by clinching two AAA grand prizes (Daesangs): Song of the Year for “Ditto” and Singer of the Year. Their remarkable night continued with a total of six awards, cementing their status as the biggest winners of the evening.

Other notable appearances included SEVENTEEN’s BSS, Stray Kids, ITZY, and a constellation of K-drama stars such as Ahn Hyo Aeop and Kim Seon Ho. The event underscored NewJeans’ dominance in the Asian music scene and celebrated the breadth of talent across the continent.
