TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER) has secured a remarkable position on Oricon’s year-end charts with all three of their 2023 albums, following their continuous success on Billboard Japan. This achievement solidifies their powerful presence in the Japanese music scene for the fourth consecutive year.
According to Japan’s Oricon in their ‘Annual Ranking 2023’ (covering December 12, 2022, to December 10, 2023), TXT’s second album, ‘SWEET,’ claimed the 11th spot in the ‘Album Ranking’ with 334,303 copies sold.
Their third full-length album, ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,’ and the fifth mini-album, ‘The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,’ secured the 13th and 21st positions, with 275,000 and 217,000 copies sold, respectively.
These rankings highlight TXT’s significant impact, as all their 2023 albums made it to the year-end charts, reflecting strong sales both domestically and internationally. Notably, ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL’ surpassed the sales of last year’s ‘Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,’ showcasing TXT’s growing influence in Japan.
Fans can look forward to TXT’s performance at the ‘2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon,’ scheduled in Incheon on December 25 KST.
