Youngseo Departs I’LL-IT, Group to Debut as 5-Members

I'LL-IT will debut as a 5-member group under BeLift Lab.

On January 5 KST, BeLift Lab, a subsidiary of HYBE Labels, announced that the upcoming girl group I’LL-IT will debut as a 5-member group following the departure of member Youngseo.

Youngseo departs from I’LL-IT ahead of their debut.

BeLift Lab released an official statement:

“Hello.

This is BeLift Lab. We would like to notify you of I’LL-IT’s plans to debut as a 5-member group. After much time spent discussing her future promotion plans, BeLift Lab and I’LL-IT member Youngseo have come to an agreement to end her exclusive contract. As the decision was made through mutual agreement with consideration for the wishes of the artist, please refrain from any speculations or misunderstandings regarding the development. BeLift Lab will cheer on Youngseo’s future with sincerity. As a result, I’LL-IT will debut as a 5-member group. BeLift Lab promises to support I’LL-IT’s debut and promotions with full effort.

I’LL-IT was formed through the JTBC survival program ‘R U Next?’ The group initially consisted of six members: Wonhee, Youngseo, Minju, Iroha, Moka, and Yuna. Youngseo, who finished in second place on the survival program, was a popular trainee loved by fans.
