IU was recently seen attending the wedding of her long-time backing vocalist, Sohyun, on January 3. Images and videos of IU singing at the wedding quickly went viral on social media and online communities.
The renowned singer-songwriter performed “The Meaning of You” as a congratulatory song for Sohyun, highlighting their special professional relationship spanning over ten years. The touching moment was further amplified when the bride joined IU in a harmonious duet.

This isn’t the first time IU has graced a wedding with her presence. She previously attended the wedding of her ‘My Mister’ co-star Chae Do Hyung, performed at her best friend Yoo In Na’s manager’s wedding in 2019, and sang for former T-ara member Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun’s wedding.
