Limited Time Offer: Walmart Settlement Could Bring Customers $500

Walmart customers might get up to $500 each in a $45 million deal, but they need to act quickly to claim it.

The company agreed to pay back customers because they might have been charged too much for certain items at Walmart stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. These items include meat, poultry, pork, seafood, and some citrus fruits sold by weight between October 19, 2018, and January 19, 2024.

If you bought any of these things in person at Walmart during that time, you might be able to get some money back. But you have to sign up by June 5.

If you have receipts or other proofs of what you bought, you could get 2% of the total cost of those items, up to $500.

You don’t need receipts to get some money. If you say you bought up to 50 of these items, you could get $10. If you say you bought between 51 and 75, you could get $15. And if you say you bought between 76 and 100, you could get $20. If you say you bought 101 or more, you could get $25.

The settlement website has a list of the items included and a tool to help you find what you bought.

Walmart customers might have paid more than they should have for these items, according to the settlement. But Walmart says it didn’t do anything wrong.
