Reflecting on his modelling days, Byun Woo Seok admits he feels “a bit embarrassed” about his past appearance. The actor revealed he was extremely skinny back then, sometimes going without proper meals for weeks to attend auditions during Milan Fashion Week. He even joked about a comment comparing his thinness to fellow model Joo Woo Jae!
Byun Woo Seok also opened up about his acting career. He considers the tvN drama “Run Away with Sun Jae” a turning point, crediting his role as Sun Jae for giving him his signature character. He described Sun Jae as someone he “doesn’t want to forget” and emphasized the importance of Sun Jae’s love interest, Im Sol.
Dedication is key for Byun Woo Seok! He revealed undergone two months of vocal training to perfect the role of Sun Jae in the drama. He also shared that his ideal type is someone with a “matching personality,” valuing wisdom over physical appearance.
