Former Wonder Girls Member Lim Announces Second Pregnancy

Former Wonder Girls Member Lim Announces Second Pregnancy.

On June 25 KST, former Wonder Girls member Lim joyfully revealed that she is expecting her second child with her husband Shin Min Chul. “I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness as it took much longer to conceive our second child compared to Siwoo,” Lim shared.

After ten months of preparation, Lim and her husband were thrilled to learn they were expecting again. “My husband was as surprised and delighted as I was. The news came as a complete surprise to him,” she said. Their first son, Siwoo, is still very young, but the couple is gradually helping him understand that he will soon have a sibling.

Regarding her health, Lim noted, “Perhaps because it’s my second pregnancy, all the symptoms appeared quickly. Today marks exactly 14 weeks and 2 days, and as I’m now in the second trimester, the morning sickness has greatly improved.” Despite balancing her radio work and childcare, Lim is trying to rest as much as possible to maintain her health.

Lim also expressed her hopes for a daughter, saying, “My husband and I both have siblings of the opposite gender, so we’ve always had a dream of having a son and a daughter. Regardless of the gender, we hope for a healthy baby.”

Earlier that day, Lim’s agency, Wav Entertainment, announced, “We are delighted to share the news of a precious new addition to Hyerim (Lim)’s family. She will continue her activities in a manageable range, ensuring her health and the baby’s well-being.”

Lim and Taekwondo athlete Shin Min Chul married on July 5, 2020, after seven years of dating, and welcomed their first son, Siwoo, in February 2022.
