Red Velvet has once again proven their global influence with the release of their new album ‘Cosmic,’ which has taken the world by storm. Released on June 24 under SM Entertainment, ‘Cosmic’ quickly climbed to the top of various charts, underscoring the group’s widespread appeal.

The album has topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 41 regions worldwide, including major markets like the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Other regions celebrating the album’s success include Sweden, Poland, Denmark, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and many more, confirming Red Velvet’s global reach and popularity.

Red Velvet’s ‘Cosmic’ tops iTunes charts in 41 regions, including the US, UK, and Canada.

In addition to dominating iTunes charts, ‘Cosmic’ also reached number one on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, topped Japan’s AWA real-time rising chart, and secured the top position on Tencent Music’s integrated K-pop chart. It also led the digital album sales charts on QQ Music and Kugou Music in China, demonstrating high interest and enthusiasm from global fans.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Red Velvet’s new album features six tracks that showcase a diverse musical spectrum. The title track, ‘Cosmic,’ is a pop dance song with dazzling synth strings and disco rhythms. The lyrics tell a fairy-tale-like story of discovering infinite love after meeting a traveller who unexpectedly lands on a solitary star, resonating positively with listeners.
