Seventeen members Jeonghan is taking a hiatus to recover from ankle surgery, as announced by Pledis Entertainment on December 14 KST via Weverse. The agency revealed that Jeonghan had been managing an ankle injury with conservative treatments while actively participating in group activities throughout the year.
However, during a recent tour, his ankle condition deteriorated, necessitating surgical intervention. The surgery, performed on December 14, was successful, and Jeonghan is now in the recovery phase under medical supervision.
In light of his surgery and to prioritize his health, Pledis Entertainment confirmed that Jeonghan will be absent from Seventeen’s upcoming ‘Follow’ tour stops in Fukuoka, Japan; Bangkok, Thailand; Bulacan, the Philippines; Macao; and other scheduled dates.
Despite his absence, Seventeen will continue with their commitments, including their upcoming tvN variety program ‘Let’s Go – NaNa Tour with Seventeen’, set to premiere on January 5. Fans are encouraged to support Jeonghan in his recovery journey.
