On January 8, EXO members Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen announced the launch of their independent label, ‘I&B100’. This new venture aims to foster their individual and team activities through creative and genuine approaches, while still maintaining their connection with SM Entertainment.
Under ‘I&B100’, Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen will manage their solo and CBX group activities. The label emphasizes their commitment to showcasing their unique musical styles and engaging in innovative projects. This includes realizing their aspirations in production and revealing their previously unseen production talents.
Despite this new direction, EXO will continue its group activities with all 8 members under SM Entertainment. The agency confirmed that members with renewed contracts remain committed, and even D.O., whose contract ended, will stay involved in EXO’s activities. Future plans include new music, performances, and an EXO fan meeting scheduled for April.
The establishment of ‘I&B100′ reflects Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen’s dedication to their fans and their desire to grow artistically. Both the independent label and SM Entertainment assure ongoing support for EXO and its members’ endeavours.
