ITZY Members Update on Lia's Temporary Hiatus

During a press conference at Conrad Seoul Grand Ballroom on January 8, ITZY shared updates regarding Lia’s temporary hiatus from activities due to health issues. The group marked the launch of their new mini-album ‘Born To Be’ with optimism and determination.

Yeji, speaking on behalf of the group, expressed gratitude for the positive start to 2024 and highlighted the stylish moments prepared in their latest album. Regarding Lia’s absence, Yeji revealed Lia’s supportive message, stating, “Lia has been watching over our promotions and has encouraged us to do our best during this time. We are focused on presenting an improved version of ourselves when Lia returns.”

ITZY members provide an update on Lia’s temporary break due to health reasons.

Chaeryeong emphasized the group’s dedication to minimizing the impact of Lia’s absence, particularly in preparations for their upcoming world tour. Despite Lia’s temporary break, ITZY is set to release their highly anticipated title track, “Untouchable,” blending mid-tempo EDM with powerful guitar sounds in the dance-pop genre, scheduled for release at 6 PM on the same day.

ITZY’s commitment to supporting Lia and delivering high-quality performances underscores their unity and resilience as a group. Fans can anticipate their continued success and eagerly await Lia’s return to full activities.
