Is Costco’s $2 Breakfast Sandwich Comparable to Starbucks’?

Costco recently introduced its own version of a breakfast sandwich similar to Starbucks’. Many people are excited to try them and see how they compare.

The sandwiches look almost the same and are both served on croissant buns. But do they taste alike?

A reporter from Eat This, Not That! decided to find out. She bought both sandwiches to compare.

The Starbucks sandwich cost more than $6 and had hickory-smoked bacon, a fried egg, and cheddar cheese. It looked a bit messy but tasted good, especially the bacon. However, the bun wasn’t as flaky as a real croissant.

Next, she tried Costco’s sandwich. It cost about $2 and had similar ingredients. While it looked similar to the Starbucks one, the bacon was thinner.

Taste-wise, the Costco sandwich fell short. The bacon wasn’t as crispy, and there wasn’t enough of it. The bun also wasn’t as flaky as expected.

While the Costco sandwich is a good deal for $2, the Starbucks one had a better taste, especially because of the bacon. But if you’re looking to save money, the Costco version might be worth it.
