PLAVE, the virtual boy group, has reached a significant milestone with their latest release, ‘ASTERUM: 134-1’, recording an impressive 569,289 copies sold on the Hanteo Chart as of March 5. This achievement marks a substantial increase from their debut album’s sales of 27,000 copies and their first mini-album’s 203,000 copies, establishing a new career-high for the group.
Notably, PLAVE also secured the 17th position among male groups for the highest initial sales on the Hanteo Chart. They maintained their dominance on the Circle Chart for 9 consecutive weeks and topped Ktown4u’s weekly album sales for 2 consecutive weeks.
Despite being virtual idols, PLAVE distinguishes itself by actively engaging in music production, including composing, lyric writing, and choreography creation. They continue to connect with fans through various digital platforms, leading up to their upcoming fan concert titled ‘Hello, Asterum!’ scheduled at Seoul Olympic Hall on the 13th and 14th of next month. This event promises to further solidify PLAVE’s presence and popularity in virtual K-pop.
