NewJeans' Agency CEO Min Hee Jin Receives Heartfelt Drawing from Takashi Murakami

Min Hee Jin, CEO of NewJeans’ agency ADOR, recently shared a touching gift from renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. On the 25th, Min posted several photos on social media, thanking Murakami for a special character drawing he created for her.

The drawing, a heartfelt gesture, features Min Hee Jin wearing a blue ball cap and a green striped T-shirt, mimicking her attire during her first emergency press conference on April 25th. Notably, the drawing includes bunny ears, a nod to NewJeans’ fan club, ‘Bunnies.’

Takashi Murakami is famous for his whimsical artworks, including his signature flower character. He has previously collaborated with NewJeans, designing character concepts and merchandise for their Japanese debut single ‘Supernatural,’ released on the 21st. His unique style has garnered a global following, with a strong fanbase in Japan and South Korea.

Min Hee Jin also shared a screenshot of her conversation with Murakami, where he mentioned, “I also created a character for Min Hee-jin,” accompanied by a heart emoji. Fans reacted warmly, praising the drawing and commenting, “Perfectly captured NewJeans mom” and “Hee Jin core is on point.”

Meanwhile, NewJeans continues to make waves with their Japanese debut single ‘Supernatural.’ They are set to hold a fan meeting, ‘Bunnies Camp,’ at the Tokyo Dome on the 26th and 27th, marking a significant milestone in their international activities.
