BTS Jimin's 'Closer Than This' Tops iTunes in 100 Countries

BTS’s Jimin continues to make history as his latest single, “Closer Than This,” has reached the top of iTunes charts in 100 countries. Released on December 22, the solo digital single, a holiday gift for fans following his enlistment for mandatory military service, quickly rose to the top in various countries, signalling another successful release for the artist.

Jimin’s single “Closer Than This” hits #1 on iTunes in 100 countries.

Within a day of its release, “Closer Than This” has hit No. 1 in 100 countries, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, and more.

This achievement makes Jimin the first and only K-Pop solo act to reach No. 1 in 100 countries with seven different songs. His previous chart-toppers include “Angel Pt.1,” “Like Crazy,” “Set Me Free Pt.2,” “Vibe,” “With You,” and “Filter.”
