Even with all the progress, some issues remain. Delivery services still face problems in remote parts of the country, and internet access in some villages is weak. In addition, competition among platforms has led to pricing wars, which can be hard for new businesses to handle. Counterfeit products and payment fraud are also concerns that companies must constantly work against.

Going forward, better use of artificial intelligence and machine learning may help platforms offer more personalised experiences. Improved use of local languages on websites and apps could also help attract buyers from different regions. More sellers are expected to go digital, giving customers even more choices.

If present trends continue, digital shopping is likely to become an even bigger part of daily life, reaching more parts of the country and providing both jobs and convenience to millions. The structure of the retail sector is changing, and digital platforms are leading the way by setting new standards in how goods and services are offered.
